‘TEAMwork makes the DREAMwork’

I have been part of this great team since 2017. It is fascinating to see how the company has grown since then – and how we have all developed.

In sales in particular, it is important to be able to identify with the products – and everyone loves delicious bread rolls 😊.

In addition, enjoying my work and having a team that I can always rely on are the most important factors in my job. Together, we can overcome any challenge. In my immediate team, we support each other wherever possible, solve problems together and always keep up to date with each other’s areas of expertise – in case support is needed at short notice.

And fittingly, this slogan has been hanging on the wall in our office for years: ‘TEAMwork makes the DREAMwork’.

‘Growing within the company’

My journey with us began in the middle of my studies – with a working student position in general office work. I quickly found my place in internal sales and remained part of the team during my master’s degree.
Gradually, I became more and more involved in controlling – and after completing my studies, I was able to join the team on a permanent basis. The exciting thing was that the position didn’t even exist before. So I had the chance to help shape my role myself.
For me, this shows that if you want to get involved, you’ll be given the opportunity to do so here.

‘Digitalisation is a real opportunity’

I love it when craftsmanship and modern technology come together – for example, when operating our computer-controlled systems. For me, digitalisation is not at odds with the baking trade, but rather a real opportunity: for efficient processes, for less physical strain – and for products that remain affordable.
At the same time, we are working on ergonomic solutions, digital control of orders and recipes, and unique baked goods – for example, through special cutting shapes that make our products unmistakable.
And what is particularly important to me is appreciation within the team. Because technology is one thing – but team spirit makes all the difference.

‘For me, organic is a conscious decision – every day.’

Organic food has been part of my life since I started my training in 1999. For me, organic is not just a label, but above all one thing: taste. I also buy a lot of organic products for myself because they simply taste more natural – and because I want to know what’s in them.
Another important factor for me is that no genetic engineering or synthetic chemical pesticides are used. And, of course, animal welfare – species-appropriate husbandry instead of factory farming.
I think everyone should be prepared to invest a little more in quality and health. For me, organic is a conscious decision – every day.
